winter

it's been cold here. i brought the pets inside. we got snow sunday, tomorrow it's supposed to finally get above freezing. i made sure my birds had plenty of food outside. they sure been taking advantage of that.

new members

Well i have 3 new members to the family. I adopted a stray dog thats a little breed. She looks like a chiuawawa mix. She gets along with all the other family members so that's great. Then i adopted 2 cats whose owners couldn't take care of them anymore. They are nice additions, one is still skittish though. She'll come around in time.

Fish

Well i have got fish now. I have goldfish, guppies, a shark, a betta, and a snail. I had 2 sharks but one died. I also had 2 neon tetra but sadly they died too. I have equalized the PH levels and changed the aerator. I hope this helps my water and fish. Later on i am getting a bigger tank.

Outside Ones

Tess is one of my dogs names. the other day she got into these ball things that stuck into her coat. It has been been pretty hot around here so I decided instead of trying to comb out every little ball I would give her a bath and groom her. It has been raining so the pigs are very very happy! They have a lot of mud to lounge and waller in. I will have pictures soon on here.

My Pets

I have a lot of pets. Just hermit crabs and a kitten inside. Fish to come soon for inside. Outside i have 2 dogs, 9 pigs, and 5 cats. This time of year i want to stress the need for shade and water. They need it. If you really are a pet lover and good care giver you will get your pet fresh water periodically through the day and night when it is hot. You need to watch them to make sure they are not getting overstressed also.It is ironic but the other day police were tracking escaped cons and 3 of their dogs sadly got overstressed and passed away.
